About Us

Corman Displays was founded in 1947 by Dan Corman as a decorating and window trimming service in Lexington, KY.
We began manufacturing display products in 1954, were incorporated in 1961 as Corman and Associates and moved to our current location in 1964.
We operate in 100,000 square feet at 881 Floyd Drive, Lexington, KY 40505. Our manufacturing, special projects and digital printing occupy 48,000 sq.’ along with 22,000 sq’ for warehouse and shipping departments

We also operate Corman Kitchen and Bath Design for residential builders and home owners and The Corman Marketplace, a Christmas trim-a-tree store. These along with our engineering, purchasing and management offices utilize 30,000 sq.’

Our primary market is specialty retail. It is a broad spectrum over multiple industries, but it accurately describes our change of focus in 1994 away from department and big box stores.

Currently, active construction in our shop includes contract rollouts for Chuck E Cheese restaurants, Great Wolf Lodge Resorts and MCCS – Marine Corp Exchange Services along with single location projects for Hershey Park, Room Place Furniture, Makers Mark Distillery and Xanterra Parks and Resorts (National Parks) and many additional small or 1 item orders.

Our seasonal manufacturing activity normally runs heaviest with tourism and travel related industries in the 4th and 1st quarters of the year. We install approximately 60% of our products. We also design approximately 15% of our customer’s projects, however we do not charge for design services or promote ourselves as designers.
